Nigeria’s Super Eagles have climbed one spot up to 38th position on the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) rankings released on Thursday.
Despite the movement, the Eagles retained their sixth position in Africa.
The Pharaohs of Egypt is ranked 25th in the world and occupy the top spot in Africa followed by Congo Dr, Senegal, Tunisia and Cameroon.
Meanwhile, Brazil returned to the summit of the rankings, as world champions, Germany, dropped back to 2nd position.
